Boiled eggs are one of the most common basic food, yet many people mess it up.
In this post I will show you, how to make perfectly cooked eggs - any consistency, without cracks, greenish yolk or gummy protein.

Eggs (any quantity)

Water

1 teaspoon salt

(optional) a little vinegar if the eggs are very fresh

â±ïž Cooking times - accurately, with stopwatch!

Boil water in a medium saucepan.
(Do not put the egg in cold water - boil the water first.) -
Carefully add the eggs using a spoon.

Start the stopwatch and choose the one you want:
Chest Time Result Soft-boiled eggs 6 minutes Liquid yolk, creamy protein Creamy medium 8 minutes Yolk semi-solid, still creamy Classic hard 10 minutes Fully solid, but not dry Overcooked - no! 12+ min Green-edged, overgrown yolk đŹ -
When the time is up: Immediately take the eggs out and put them in ice-cold water 5 minutes away.
This stops the cooking and will be easier to clean them.đĄ More tips:

A old eggs are easier to peel, but the completely fresh ones tend to crack.
